Alanis Morissette from Canada, was born June 1, 1974, in Ottawa. Alanis is the feminine version of Alan his father's last name. Georgia is the name of her mother, and she has two brothers named Chad along with Wade. She began playing piano when she was just 6, and guitar at age 21.
