Alanis Morissette
Alanis Morissette from Canada, was born June 1, 1974, in Ottawa. Alanis is the feminine version of Alan his father's last name. Georgia is the name of her mother, and she has two brothers named Chad along with Wade. She began playing piano when she was just 6, and guitar at age 21. Alanis dropped a single in 1986 entitled Fate stay with me (b-side : Find The Right Man). To be specific, during her time in Canada, Alanis recorded two dance-pop records: Alanis (in the year 1991) and now Is The Time in 1992. At the age of 18, she made the move from NY to Toronto and her attempts to collaborate with musicians and songwriters failed. Glen Ballard was the producer/songwriter she picked in the year 1994. Glen has previously collaborated alongside Aretha Frankin, Michael Jackson and Barbra Strreisand. They moved to LA after turning 19. Madonna released "Jagged Little Pill" in a track on June 13, 1995. Alanis has discovered an intimate, personal way to write songs. JLP was sold to around 30 million copies around the world this makes it the highest-selling female-oriented album ever. It is also the third most-loved album ever. JLP was released after enduring anxiety (she had thought of not releasing an album) while taking an excursion abroad.
