LeBron Raymone James Sr. (born on December 30, 1984) was an American professional basketball player who plays for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). King James, he's widely regarded to be the greatest player of all-time and often compared Michael Jordan during debates about the best basketball player ever. James is the winner of four NBA Championships and the four NBA MVP Awards as well as the four NBA Finals MVP Awards and three All-Star MVP Awards. He is also the proud owner of 2 Olympic gold medals. James has scored more points in the playoffs, has had the second highest number of career points, and ranks seventh among career assists. James is the NBA All-Star has made the All-NBA Team 18 times, an all-time record. James was also named to make the NBA All-Defensive First Team 5 times. He was the 3rd player to participate in NBA Finals. Eight of those were consecutive from 2011 to the year 2018. James was selected to join the NHL75th Anniversary Team. And in 2022, he became only the third NBA player ever to score more than 10,000 career points. James was a basketball player in St. Vincent St. Mary High School in his hometown from Akron Ohio and was heavily advertised by national media for his potential as an NBA superstar. A prep-to-pro, he was chosen for the Cleveland Cavaliers with the first top pick of the 2003 NBA draft. He was named the 2004 NBA Rookie of Year He quickly established himself as one of the best league players winning the NBA MVP title in 2010 and 2009. James was not able to secure the award with Cleveland, and then left Cleveland as"a "free agent" in the year 2010. The decision was announced during the television special The Decision.
