LeBron Raymone James Sr. is an American professional basketball player that plays with the Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association. Nicknamed King James he is widely thought to be one of the best basketball players ever and is frequently compared to Michael Jordan in debates over the best basketball player of all time. James has taken home four NBA championships four NBA MVP Awards, and four NBA Finals MVP awards three All-Star MVP awards and two Olympic gold medals. James had more points than any other player during the playoffs. He has the second most points in his career and is seventh in career assists. Alongside being an NBA All-Star, James was chosen to an NBA All-NBA Team on 18 occasions. Ten NBA Finals is the most ever. He has also won eight times consecutively between the years 2011-2018, he was also selected to be on the team for NBA's 75th anniversary. James made part of the NBA 75th Anniversary Team in 2021. In 2022, he became the first NBA player to reach 10,000 career points. James played for St. Vincent St. Mary High school in Akron, Ohio. He was hailed by the national press as the future NBA superstar. As a prep to pro it was the Cleveland Cavaliers chose him as the first pick overall during the NBA draft in 2003. The 2004 NBA Rookie of the Year the player quickly became one of the top league players by winning his NBA MVP title in 2009 and 2010. James, who was unable to be crowned the champion in Cleveland, in the year 2010, left as a free agent and signed with the Miami Heat. This was disclosed in The Decision. It is one of the most controversial decisions made by a free agent in sports the history of sports.
